Withenay's Wednesday Word

Withenay’s Wednesday Word: logomania (a cheat!)

Welcome to Withenay’s Wednesday Word: a wandering, wondering dip into the dictionary. The topics are always varied and rarely predictable!

logomania (noun)
an obsessive interest in words
from Greek logo word and mania enthusiasm

I was about to post this week’s word (a different one!) when a tweet came through from AWAD (@awad) promoting logomania: an obsessive interest in words.

The coincidence made me laugh so much that I had to post it here. Follow the link, then follow AWAD (it’s free) for more word fun!

(Me? A logomaniac? Surely not!)
